‘Mom, she choked me’: Parents accuse East New York school staff of assaulting their children

Multiple parents are accusing teachers and staff at P.S. 202 in East New York of physically and verbally assaulting their children.

One mother says her son told her a teacher choked him. Another parent, who sits on the school’s PTA board, says her son’s finger was injured so severely by a teacher that he needed a splint. A third says a staff member became aggressive toward her in front of her child.

Families say they’ve reported the incidents to the school but feel nothing has been done. Two have already withdrawn their children from P.S. 202…
