The NYPD is actively searching for an assailant responsible for the violent robbery of a senior citizen on Buffalo Avenue, and they’re seeking the public’s help. According to a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, last Tuesday, at around 2:10 p.m., a 65-year-old man was attacked in front of 173 Buffalo Avenue, in the jurisdiction of the 77th Precinct.
The yet-to-be-identified individual reportedly pushed the elderly victim to the ground, then proceeded to assault him with punches and kicks, resulting in minor injuries and the victim’s property being forcefully stolen; this information has been disseminated in hopes that witnesses or those with knowledge of the incident will come forward. NYPD Crimestoppers has relayed their call to action, stating, “Have any info? DM @nypdtips or call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).”
