PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) — Police are investigating the death of a 5-year-old child who drowned in their Paterson home swimming pool on Saturday, according to police.
Paterson Police said the child was found “completely submerged” in the pool by family members and rushed to a local hospital around 10 p.m. on Saturday. The child was declared dead shortly after, according to police.
