Illegal nightclub shut down in Bushwick, 2 people arrested: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – An illegal nightclub was shut down in Bushwick over the weekend, according to the NYPD.

Locals have complained about a building on Jefferson Street being illegally used as a club since 2018, building records show. On Saturday, police permanently “turn[ed] off the lights” at the building where they found drugs and alcohol, according to the NYPD.

The Department of Buildings reported finding a tattoo parlor inside the property, which is supposed to be a commercial and manufacturing space, buildings records show.

The NYPD arrested two young men related to the club, 22-year-old Milos Sokorac and 28-year-old Saimon Honlader, police said. Both men now face drug possession charges and reckless endangerment, police said…
