NYC teen charged with gang assault for brutal stabbing on NYC subway train

BRONX, N.Y. — A 39-year-old man was stabbed and beaten by a group of attackers on a Bronx subway platform early Sunday morning, with police arresting a 15-year-old boy in connection with the assault.

The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. aboard a northbound #4 train approaching the River Avenue and East 167th Street station. According to police, three unidentified individuals approached the victim as the train neared the platform.

Once on the platform at 167th Street, one individual forcibly removed a chain from the victim’s neck. A second suspect then stabbed the man in the chest, and all three punched and kicked him before fleeing the station on foot…
