Man accused of choking sister, 64, to death in Brooklyn home

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man is accused of choking his 64-year-old sister to death in the living room of their Brooklyn home, authorities said Monday.

Authorities found Mary Ellen Fagan unconscious on the living room floor in the home near St. John’s Place and Bedford Avenue at around 6 p.m. on July 26, according to the NYPD.

Fagan died at the scene, police said. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.
