Man killed by train at Grand Central Station: police

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) — A man was struck and killed by a train at Grand Central-42nd St on Sunday night, according to police.

No. 7 train service was partially suspended from Queensboro Plaza to Grand Central-42nd St while emergency crews responded to the area.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, suffered severe head and body trauma. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.
