A top NYPD official in charge of transportation is under investigation for an alleged hit and run of a parked car — and then trying to cover it up, THE CITY has learned.
Franklin Sepulveda, the NYPD’s director of traffic, allegedly sideswiped a car near the division’s Midtown headquarters on April 3 and later instructed a city worker to file a false report about the incident, according to two sources familiar with the probe.
