Subway service suspended in Brooklyn after person hit by train: MTA

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was fatally struck by a subway train in Brooklyn, suspending the L line on Friday, according to the MTA.

The FDNY said the person was hit near the DeKalb Avenue station around 10:30 a.m. There was no L service between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street as a result, but trains later resumed with delays, according to the MTA.

The agency recommended commuters take a J or M train or a B60 bus between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street.
