Off-duty NYC crossing guard arrested for assault: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — An off-duty New York City crossing guard was arrested on Sunday after a verbal dispute led to violence, according to sources.

Michelle Stallings, 58, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds for the alleged incident, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Sources familiar with the situation said Stallings got into an argument with the victim at around 4:45 p.m. over a noise complaint near the victim’s home, which is in the area of Crotona International High School.
