Cops search for subway slasher who knifed victim in arm, head on Brooklyn A train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for an armed assailant who slashed a subway rider on a Brooklyn A train last week, releasing a photo of the suspect Tuesday to aid the investigation.

It happened on Friday, Aug. 29 at about 4:23 p.m. aboard a southbound A train as it approached the Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station, police said.

The suspect came up to the 31-year-old victim, and a verbal dispute ensued. The altercation escalated when the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim on the left side of his arm and head, officials said…
