Witnesses say a white man suddenly began scooping up trash bags from the curb and hurling them at a Black man standing nearby with his skateboard. At first, the target tried to brush it off, but the relentless taunting quickly escalated. Within moments, the bizarre trash attack spiraled into a full-on street fight that left the aggressor humiliated and the internet buzzing about “instant karma” and “street justice.”
The video, filmed on the busy Lower Manhattan sidewalk, shows the trash-thrower taunting as he lobs bag after bag. The skateboarder, cigarette dangling casually from his mouth, finally loses patience. He sets down his phone and steps forward, throwing punches that knock the instigator back into the street. At one point, another passerby joins in, making sure the man who started the trouble doesn’t walk away untouched.
