WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Two teenagers are facing charges after Waterbury police spotted a vehicle stolen out of New York.
Around 4:16 p.m. on Sunday, authorities said they were patrolling the area of North Main Street when they saw a stolen 2016 Honda HR-V with a stolen license plate.

Police said when they approached the vehicle, the 15-year-old fled on foot, while the 17-year-old remained at the scene. The 15-year-old allegedly discarded a firearm before being arrested.
