Autistic boy fatally struck by car on Long Island highway: police

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A 15-year-old autistic boy was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island on Thursday, police said.

Officials on Friday identified the victim as 15-year-old Christopher Williams, of St. Albans, Queens. The deadly crash happened near Exit 13, police said.

Williams was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
