BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 59-year-old man was beaten to death with a baton inside a Brooklyn bodega on Monday night, according to the NYPD.
Police said it happened on Knickerbocker Avenue around 7 p.m. A fight broke out between two people in the bodega, according to authorities.

Police said one of the men involved in the fight, 59-year-old Gerry Hill, was hit in the head with the baton. His head trauma was so severe that he died from his injuries after being rushed to the hospital, according to authorities.
