WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) — A 99-year-old landlord was robbed after a masked gunman allegedly pushed his way into a residential Manhattan building and stole $20,000 on Monday, police said Thursday.
The victim was standing by the entrance gate when the suspect allegedly grabbed the gate and snuck into the building at West 187th Street and Audubon Avenue in Washington Heights at around 10 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The suspect then allegedly held a gun to the landlord’s throat and told him to take him to the building office, where he took around $20,000 in cash, police said. Sources said the landlord owns three buildings in the area.
The landlord suffered two broken fingers and a cut on the hand and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The robber ran off after the incident and was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers, cops said…
