NEW YORK (PIX11) — Are you in need of a new bike helmet?
The New York City Department of Transportation is hosting free helmet fitting and distribution events this weekend in the Bronx and Manhattan.

Helmets will be available while supplies last. Adults over 18 must sign a waiver to receive a helmet. For children under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver.
The distribution events will be held on:
- Saturday: Helmet Fitting & Distribution: Bike the Block
- 1398 Prospect Avenue in the Bronx
- 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Sunday: Helmet Fitting & Distribution: Party on Park
- East 115 Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan
- Noon to 3 p.m.
