Man found in critical condition at subway station entrance dies: NYPD

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man found critically injured at the entrance of a Brooklyn subway station on Tuesday afternoon has died, according to the NYPD.

The victim was found in the entrance of the R line at the Jay Street-MetroTech station at around 3:07 p.m., police say.

Police say the victim was unconscious and had multiple wounds, and it appeared that he had been beaten. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he passed away.
