Authorities seize thousands of fentanyl pills during traffic stop

GLENDON, Pa. — Authorities arrested two out-of-state men after seizing about 20,000 fentanyl pills during a traffic stop, officials said Thursday.

Jorge Joel Gomez Guzmen, of Maryland, and Maykol Jeffrie Goris Hiciano, of New York, are in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail, Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta announced.

On Oct. 29, state police conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 78 in Glendon and identified Goris Hiciano as the driver and Gomez Guzmen as his passenger, Baratta said…
