Long Island man who allegedly vandalized 11 NYPD vehicles busted, promptly cut loose in court

A Long Island man who allegedly smashed up and slashed the tires of nearly a dozen police cruisers parked outside the NYPD’s newest station house was busted after he nearly backed into cops on his tail –and then promptly cut loose in court, cops and prosecutors said.

Christian Genwright, 22, of Valley Stream, allegedly defaced five marked and six unmarked NYPD vehicles near the 116th Precinct headquarters on North Conduit Avenue in Rosedale around 11:20 p.m. on Monday — then drove off in the luxury getaway car, according to police.

He allegedly used a knife to slash the tires of seven vehicles and smashed the windshields of four others with a hammer – causing an airbag to deploy on one, which also had driver’s side mirror damage, cops and prosecutors said…
