An unhinged Brooklyn wigmaker who admitted she mowed down a mom and her two young daughters in a reckless car crash got a slap-on-the-wrist prison sentence Wednesday – and even thanked the judge for his “gracious offer.”
Miriam Yarimi, 32, faced up to 15 years behind bars for the horrific March 29 crash that killed mom Natasha Saada and her daughters, Diana, 7, and Deborah, 5, as they left Shabbat services, but got a soft 3-to-9 year sentence by Judge Danny Chun.
“I’ve been persistent throughout my career that when the defendant offers to plead guilty, generally the maximum offer is not given, when the defendant wants to plead guilty and accept responsibility,” the judge said in court.
