NYPD apprehends suspect in copper cable theft that caused numerous subway delays

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A man was arrested for allegedly stealing copper cables from the New York City subway system, which resulted in numerous delays in October.

The NYPD apprehended Efrain Velez, 55, on Oct. 14 for theft of signal cables.
