An alleged Crips gangbanger was shot dead near a hip Midtown nightclub early Sunday as hundreds of people poured out after a performance by rap star Gunna, law-enforcement sources said.
The Atlanta hip-hopper — who played Madison Square Garden hours earlier — had just performed at Harbor NYC Club on West 46th Street at the West Side Highway in Manhattan when the deadly bullets rang out up the block at closing time around 4 a.m., police and sources said.
The male victim, 39, who was not identified pending family notification, was hit in the back and groin and stumbled down the block to outside the club, sources said. He was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died from his wounds.
