Times Square subway burn victim keeps changing his story, police say

A man who suffered burns on a subway car as it approached Times Square early Monday morning keeps changing his story about what happened, the New York City Police Department said.

The incident happened just after 3 a.m. as a northbound 3 train approached the Times Square-42nd Street station in midtown Manhattan.

Police said the victim, an apparently homeless 55-year-old man, was asleep in the car when he suffered the burns…
