(NewsNation) — An apartment building in New York City’s Upper West Side caught fire with dramatic images coming from the scene on Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out around 8:20 a.m. local time, and flames appeared to be coming out of windows on the building’s sixth floor. Three people who lived in the apartment building were injured, and one firefighter was also injured in the fire. They are all expected to be okay.
During a news briefing on the fire Tuesday, fire officials said multiple units have “heavy, heavy damage,” and part of the structure collapsed.
