The police arrested a man on Monday in connection with a shooting that left a woman injured on Wayne Avenue.
Imran Khan, 40, of Paterson was taken into custody on December 29, 2025, in Newark. Police said he faces charges of second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree aggravated assault, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and third-degree hindering apprehension.
Police responded to the area of Wayne and Crosby avenues at around 5:30 a.m. Monday on a report of a shooting and found a 43-year-old woman with a non-fatal gunshot wound.
