NEW YORK (PIX11)- The new year kicked off with celebration and smiles at Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park, Brooklyn, where the hospital welcomed its first baby of 2026 just after 2 a.m.
Weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 20 inches long, Noah Joseph Lewis arrived at 2:22 a.m. on January 1st, officially becoming the hospital’s first baby of the new year.

Proud parents Chelsea and Devin Lewis of Brooklyn say they chose the name “Noah” for its strong biblical meaning, a leader who guided others through challenges.
