Camera Enforcement Fines Begin on B11 Bus Route This Friday

Drivers in Boro Park should be aware that new automated enforcement fines will begin this Friday, January 9, along the B11 bus route.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced that cameras installed on buses will now issue fines to vehicles that block bus lanes, bus stops, or illegally double park along the B11, as well as three other routes citywide. The fines start at $50 and can increase to $250 for repeat violations.

The B11 bus route is one of four additional routes being added to the Automated Camera Enforcement program, which already covers dozens of bus lines across New York City.
