BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — BELOVED BROOKLYN DIVE BAR Montero Bar & Grill, at 73 Atlantic Ave. near Hicks Street, has been sold to Crew hospitality group, according to the New York Post. The bar, almost 90 years old, was once the favorite hangout of the sailors and longshoremen who worked the nearby docks. They brought mementos of their lives at sea — photographs, ship models, life preservers — to their home-away-from-home, where they remain still.
