NEW YORK − An apparent murder-suicide on Jan. 22 left three shot, two fatally, in a New York City apartment building, police said.
The shooting occurred in the affluent Spuyten Duyvil neighborhood of northwestern Bronx, at a co-op building perched atop a cliff. The 55-year-old man suspected of shooting two others is a Port Authority police officer, a union official confirmed. Police haven’t released the suspect’s identity.
Just before 8 a.m., police responded to a call of multiple shots fired inside the building, the New York City Police Department said. On arrival, police found the 55-year-old man shot in the head, a 59-year-old woman shot in the head and an 86-year-old woman shot in the face…
