When Meagan Licari, the founder of Puppy Kitty NYC, first laid eyes on Figaro, she knew she would never forget him.
The tiny kitten was in an emergency animal hospital, fighting to survive after suffering severe facial injuries.

“He was so tiny and was missing basically half of his face. It brought me to tears to see this little guy with such horrible injuries,” she recalls.
