BENSONHURST – POLICE ARE SEEKING two people who around 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 attacked a 63-year-old man at the 79th Street D station, sending him to the hospital.
The victim was exiting the station when he was approached from behind, grabbed by the neck and shoved to the ground. The attackers took turns punching and kicking him before forcibly removing his wallet, then fled on foot. Emergency medical services transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. The victim later discovered unauthorized attempted credit card charges, which were unsuccessful.
The first suspect is described as male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweater and black pants. The second suspect is described as male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket and gray sweatpants…
