A 36-year-old Carteret man is facing multiple hate crime charges after allegedly driving his vehicle into the entrance of a prominent Brooklyn synagogue last Wednesday night, authorities said.
Dan Sohail repeatedly rammed his Honda Accord into the Chabad-Lubavitch Orthodox Jewish movement headquarters in Crown Heights around 8:45 p.m., striking the building five times before officers arrested him, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny. No one was injured in the incident.
