Man accused of using credit card to steal items from Poconos pool supply store arrested in New York

STROUDSBURG, Pa. – A man accused of using a credit card to steal items from a pool supply store in the Poconos last summer was arrested in New York.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department said Kiond Jones, 22, was picked up by the Suffolk County Police Department during an incident Thursday afternoon.

A felony arrest warrant had been filed for Jones last year. That happened after Stroud Area Regional Police said a customer called Pocono Pools & Spa on Route 611 in Stroudsburg on June 17, 2025, and purchased a pool cleaner machine over the phone.
