Boy, 16, falls over 50 feet at Queensboro Bridge during social media stunt: sources

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 16-year-old boy had to be rescued Monday after he plunged more than 50 feet down a shaft while performing a social media stunt at the Queensboro Bridge, sources said.

The teen was climbing the bridge when he fell around 9 p.m. and had to be rescued in an operation involving dozens of members of the FDNY and NYPD.
