Viral Nypd Video Shows Screeching Bald Eagle Saved From Hudson, Now Critical In NJ

A screeching bald eagle rescued from ice in the Hudson River by NYPD marine officers is now in very serious condition at a New Jersey wildlife hospital, officials said.

The NYPD shared video of its Harbor Patrol Unit rescuing the injured eagle, which was floating on ice with a bleeding claw. The bird could be heard screeching as officers carefully brought it onto their boat and placed it into a carrier. As of Wednesday, Feb. 18, the video had been shared 1.2K times.
