A New York City man is facing charges after a fatal single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on N.C. 97 in the southern part of Nash County, authorities said.
Michael Jeanty, 46, of the Bronx borough of New York City, is being held in the Nash County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond on a charge of misdemeanor death by vehicle, according to N.C. District Court records.
