A 38-year-old woman and a 43-year-old woman were shot in their legs, while two 44-year-old men were hit, one in the leg and the other in the arm, according to News 12 New York.

As reported by Brooklyn Paper, shootings in Brooklyn were up about 15% in February, and the number of shooting victims climbed roughly 30% compared with the same time last year. Those localized spikes have kept police resources stretched across multiple neighborhoods.
