A small earthquake rattled parts of New York on Tuesday morning.
The magnitude 2.3 quake struck at 10:17 a.m. EDT near Sleepy Hollow, about 30 miles north of New York City, according to the USGS. It was a relatively shallow earthquake, reportedly just 4.5 miles below the surface.
