MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) — A man is dead after collapsing to the ground on a Manhattan subway platform, according to police.
NYPD officers were alerted to the C and E platform at the 34th Street and Eighth Avenue subway station at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday for reports of an unconscious man, officials said.
Police found an unresponsive and unconscious 55-year-old on the platform in critical condition. He was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival by hospital staff…
