A 25-year-old man was apprehended after a report of a kidnapping in Jersey City led to a police pursuit in Brooklyn on Thursday, March 19, authorities said.
At 1:36 p.m., Jersey City police responded to 15 Hobson St. after a woman said she was in danger, Kimberly Wallace Scalfione, a spokesperson for the mayor’s office said. While en route, police were advised the caller was in a moving vehicle, Wallace-Scalfione said.
