Mary Beth Hurt, who starred in films such as “The World According to Garp” and “Six Degrees of Separation,” has died at the age of 79.
Molly Schrader, Hurt’s daughter, announced her mother’s death in a post on social media. She died at an assisted living facility in Jersey City, N.J., according to The Hollywood Reporter.
