STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle near the Staten Island Mall shortly after midnight Monday, police say.
A 911 call made at approximately 12:35 a.m. reported a pedestrian struck near the intersection of Ring Road and Platinum Avenue in New Springville, according to the NYPD and FDNY.
