Teen repeatedly slashed in the face on A train in Broad Channel: NYPD

Police from the 106th Precinct and Transit District 23 are looking for a teenager who allegedly slashed the face of a younger boy in broad daylight on board an A train in Broad Channel late last month.

The 15-year-old victim was riding a northbound train from the Rockaways at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, March 30, when he was approached by a masked-up stranger who pulled out an unknown sharp object and slashed the youngster multiple times across his face, a law enforcement source said Tuesday. Investigators have not determined what led up to the assault nor has it been determined that it was an unprovoked attack.

The suspect ran off the A train as it pulled into the Broad Channel subway station along Jamaica Bay and was last seen running westbound on Noel Road toward Cross Bay Boulevard, police said…
