A man was shot and killed on the Upper West Side on Thursday afternoon near the public housing complex where he lived, police said.
NYPD officials said 33-year-old Rashaun Hopkins was gunned down just before 5 p.m. outside a residential building on West 104th Street near Manhattan Avenue, right across the street from the New York City Housing Authority’s Frederick Douglass Houses.
First responders found Hopkins with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and took him to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said…
