14-Year-Old Stabbed Outside Bushwick’s JHS 383 as Cops Hunt Suspect

Tuesday afternoon outside J.H.S. 383 Philippa Schuyler in Bushwick ended with flashing lights and police tape after, police say, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed on Greene Avenue. The teen suffered a puncture wound to his thigh and was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where officials say he is expected to recover. Police say a male suspect in a blue T-shirt ran westbound on Greene Avenue and remains at large.

According to News12, officers responded to the school around 3:50 p.m. and found the boy with a stab wound. The outlet reported EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and that investigators were canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video. No arrests had been reported as of the News12 update.
