A New York City Department of Transportation employee was arrested nearly seven weeks after a pedestrian was killed in a collision at a Queens intersection, police said.
Jonathan Adorno, 49, was charged Tuesday with failure to yield to a pedestrian with the right of way and failure to exercise due care in connection with the March 10 crash that killed 31-year-old Nilufar Komilova. He was taken into custody at 10:36 a.m. wihin the confines of the 102nd Precinct.
