STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An incident on Monday night at Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices in Huguenot has left a young Staten Island family shaken.
Michele Gatens, 37, a mother and teacher, was visiting the cherished dessert spot on Monday evening at 7:20 p.m. when a group of unidentified men on dirt bikes surrounded the back of her Cadillac Escalade.
As she placed her three children in the car, one of the men approached the side of her car and fired a gel pellet gun at her vehicle, landing next to her one-year-old son’s carrier…
