Fireball explosion near NYC’s iconic Charging Bull forces bypassers to run for their lives

All hell broke loose in a busy part of Lower Manhattan on Tuesday evening after a vehicle burst into flames and exploded.

The scene unfolded around 5:42 p.m. Tuesday after a vehicle parked on the side of the road near Broadway and Stone Street went ablaze and exploded, leading thick black smoke to fill the air, according to the Fire Department of New York.
