BUFFALO, N.Y. — While Buffalo native D’Mott performs on stages across the country, the singer says there’s nothing quite like returning home to perform at Buffalo’s Juneteenth Festival.
D’Mott, one of the featured performers at this year’s 50th annual Juneteenth celebration, said being invited to perform on the festival’s main stage is both an honor and a deeply personal moment.
“It means everything to me,” D’Mott said. “Buffalo is my headquarters. It will always be my headquarters. Singing in front of my family, my loved ones, and my city means the world to me.”…
